What You Receive: One cup of live pincushion moss.
Pincushion moss grows in dense, rounded domes of pale blue-green that look like tiny hills. It is one of the most decorative terrarium mosses and is ideal for creating rolling landscapes in jars and bowls. It prefers a moist, but not soaking, base and indirect light, and holds its shape well over time.
Light
Low to medium indirect light.
Watering
Mist with clean water when the top turns whitish; avoid sitting water at the base.
Humidity
Moderate to high; does well in jars with occasional airing.
Placing
Press the cushion gently onto moist substrate; split large cushions to fit.
Maintenance
Air the jar if mould appears and trim any brown spots.
