Cappuccino is a Thai Cubaris named for its coffee colours: an espresso-brown base with creamy milk-white to light caramel bands and a distinctive face mask. Adults are wide and robust, reaching about 2.2 cm, and are bold and docile. It is a slow-burning species that takes time to establish, but rewards keepers with large broods once settled.
Keep about one third moist with forest moss, rotting white wood and decaying leaves. Feed fruit, vegetables, fish food, moss and leaf litter, with protein at least twice a week and a calcium source (cuttlebone, limestone or oyster shell).

Shipping & Live-Arrival Guarantee
We ship Monday to Wednesday only, so your isopods never sit in a courier hub over the weekend. During peak summer (April to June) we may hold orders for a cooler shipping window and will message you on WhatsApp before dispatch. Every order is covered by our live-arrival guarantee: if any isopods arrive dead, send an unboxing video within 2 hours of delivery and we will replace them or refund you for those pieces.
Acclimation Tips on Arrival
- Open the box as soon as it arrives and keep it out of direct sun.
- Gently tip the moss and isopods into their enclosure; do not pick them out one by one.
- Mist one corner, offer leaf litter and a small piece of vegetable, and leave them undisturbed for 48 hours.
- Some stress losses in the first week are normal for any live shipment; a stable, lightly humid setup keeps them to a minimum.
