A look at what we're bringing to Verdanest next — new livestock, new accessories, and new colours. This page updates as plans firm up.
Millipedes
First up: millipedes are joining the Verdanest lineup. Like isopods, they're gentle detritivores that break down leaf litter and decaying wood — a natural fit for bioactive terrariums and clean-up crews, with their own slower, more deliberate charm. We're finalising which species to launch with first.
3D Printed Accessories
Next, we're bringing custom 3D printed terrarium accessories to the shop — hides, feeding dishes and enclosure décor designed specifically around isopod and bioactive setups, not generic reptile gear. Designed and printed in-house, the same way every culture is bred in-house.
Red & Orange Springtails
Soon after, we're adding Red and Orange Springtails alongside our existing Tropical Springtails cultures — the same clean-up crew function, in colour morphs that stay visible against dark substrate instead of disappearing into it.
