What You Receive: One box of live sheet moss.
Sheet moss forms flat, matted carpets that can be laid like turf over substrate, rocks and wood. It is the quickest way to give a terrarium a mature, forest-floor look. It grows well in closed terrariums with good moisture and indirect light, and pieces can be cut to fit around plants and hardscape.
Light
Low to medium indirect light; direct sun dries and bleaches it.
Watering
Mist with clean (RO, rain or boiled-and-cooled) water when the surface lightens.
Humidity
Best in closed containers.
Laying
Press sheets firmly onto moist substrate so there are no air gaps beneath.
Maintenance
Trim brown patches and replace with fresh pieces.
