- Collector favourite for detailed scapes
- Climbs and creeps over wood and stone
What You Receive: One rooted or rooting cutting, packed in moist moss.
Oak leaf creeping fig has tiny lobed leaves that look like miniature oak leaves, giving it a delicate, detailed texture unlike any other climber. It creeps and climbs slowly over substrate, wood and stone and is prized for nano terrariums and detailed vivarium scapes. It loves high humidity and stable conditions, which makes it a natural fit for closed terrariums.
Light
Medium indirect light. Too much direct light bleaches the leaves.
Watering
Keep the substrate constantly moist but not waterlogged.
Humidity
Needs high humidity; it struggles in open rooms. Best in a closed terrarium.
Planting a Cutting
Lay nodes on moist moss or substrate and keep humidity high until new growth appears (2–4 weeks).
Pruning
Trim rarely; let it establish before cutting back.
