A clean white Cubaris with dark grey markings that trace a shark-like outline along its back. Rolls into a ball and makes a striking centrepiece for humid displays.
- Bold white-and-grey "shark" pattern
- Rolls into a ball
- Collector favourite, limited cultures
White Shark is one of the most recognisable Thai Cubaris. Its bright white shell is broken by grey-to-charcoal patches that give each animal a sleek, shark-like look. Like all Cubaris, it rolls into a tight ball when disturbed. It prefers warm, humid conditions with good airflow and breeds at a steady but slower pace than common species, which keeps it in demand with collectors.
Premium collection: these are slower-breeding, collector-grade species. Cultures are limited and shipped as a mixed-age group of 6 or more, which gives you the best chance of both sexes and a breeding start. Keep them in a stable, shaded room, below 28°C.
Coco peat with leaf litter, rotting hardwood, sphagnum moss and cork bark. Keep two thirds moist and one third slightly drier, with cross-ventilation to stop stale air. Feed leaf litter and rotting wood, with fish flakes or dried shrimp and cuttlebone always available.

Shipping & Live-Arrival Guarantee
We ship Monday to Wednesday only, so your isopods never sit in a courier hub over the weekend. During peak summer (April to June) we may hold orders for a cooler shipping window and will message you on WhatsApp before dispatch. Every order is covered by our live-arrival guarantee: if any isopods arrive dead, send an unboxing video within 2 hours of delivery and we will replace them or refund you for those pieces.
Acclimation Tips on Arrival
- Open the box as soon as it arrives and keep it out of direct sun.
- Gently tip the moss and isopods into their enclosure; do not pick them out one by one.
- Mist one corner, offer leaf litter and a small piece of vegetable, and leave them undisturbed for 48 hours.
- Some stress losses in the first week are normal for any live shipment; a stable, lightly humid setup keeps them to a minimum.
