Anubias nana 'Gold' brings the same toughness as the classic nana with brighter, golden-yellow to lime new leaves that mature to a softer green. It grows on wood and rock, needs no CO2, and suits shrimp tanks, community tanks and paludariums. Its lighter colour stands out against dark wood and green plants.
Planting
Keep the rhizome above the substrate; tie or glue it to hardscape.
Light
Medium light keeps the gold colour brightest; avoid very strong light to limit algae.
Water
Stable, clean water; occasional liquid fertiliser helps colour.
Maintenance
Trim old leaves at the rhizome; wipe algae off gently.

Divide the rhizome into sections with several leaves.
