The large Spanish Sevilla isopod in a rich caramel-brown colour. Big, bold and a warm-toned alternative to the classic dark Sevilla.

Sevilla Caramel is a colour morph of the large Porcellio sp. 'Sevilla' from southern Spain. In place of the classic charcoal shell, it shows warm caramel and toffee tones with pale edges. It shares the size, confident roaming behaviour and Mediterranean care needs of the wild-type Sevilla. Keep it with or near the dark form for a striking contrast, but in separate enclosures to hold the morph.
Premium collection: these are slower-breeding, collector-grade species. Cultures are limited and shipped as a mixed-age group of 6 or more, which gives you the best chance of both sexes and a breeding start. Keep them in a stable, shaded room, below 28°C.
Well-ventilated tub with coco peat, crushed chalk or limestone, leaf litter and cork bark. Mostly dry, with one damp corner or moss hide. Protein twice a week and cuttlebone always available. Keep cool and shaded in summer.

During peak summer (April to June) we may hold orders for a cooler shipping window and will message you on WhatsApp before dispatch. Every order is covered by our live-arrival guarantee: if any isopods arrive dead, send an unboxing video within 2 hours of delivery and we will replace them or refund you for those pieces.
Acclimation Tips on Arrival
- Open the box as soon as it arrives and keep it out of direct sun.
- Gently tip the moss and isopods into their enclosure; do not pick them out one by one.
- Mist one corner, offer leaf litter and a small piece of vegetable, and leave them undisturbed for 48 hours.
- Some stress losses in the first week are normal for any live shipment; a stable, lightly humid setup keeps them to a minimum.
