A cheerful Cubaris in warm citrus tones that rolls into a ball. Our most affordable rare Cubaris and a great first step into the genus.

Citrus brings the rounded shape and rolling defence of rare Cubaris at an accessible price. Its shell shows warm orange-to-yellow tones that stand out against dark substrate and moss. It enjoys the same warm, humid, well-ventilated setup as other Southeast Asian Cubaris. A good choice for keepers moving up from Cubaris murina before buying high-end species.
Premium collection: these are slower-breeding, collector-grade species. Cultures are limited and shipped as a mixed-age group of 6 or more, which gives you the best chance of both sexes and a breeding start. Keep them in a stable, shaded room, below 28°C.
Moist coco peat with leaf litter, rotting hardwood, moss and cork bark, plus one slightly drier zone and steady ventilation. Feed leaf litter, rotting wood, vegetables (carrot helps hold colour) and protein twice a week. Keep cuttlebone available.

We ship Monday to Wednesday only, so your isopods never sit in a courier hub over the weekend. During peak summer (April to June) we may hold orders for a cooler shipping window and will message you on WhatsApp before dispatch. Every order is covered by our live-arrival guarantee: if any isopods arrive dead, send an unboxing video within 2 hours of delivery and we will replace them or refund you for those pieces.
Acclimation Tips on Arrival
- Open the box as soon as it arrives and keep it out of direct sun.
- Gently tip the moss and isopods into their enclosure; do not pick them out one by one.
- Mist one corner, offer leaf litter and a small piece of vegetable, and leave them undisturbed for 48 hours.
- Some stress losses in the first week are normal for any live shipment; a stable, lightly humid setup keeps them to a minimum.
